Person-centred Work in Europe

  • Project Number: 2016-1-AT01-KA102-016626
  • Grants Program: Erasmus+
  • Program Period: 2016 bis 2017

Ten staff members of our organisation benefited from mobility opportunities in the one-year project "Person-centred work in Europe” in 2016/2017
In a job shadowing they visited 4 European countries and were received hospitably in 6 organizations.
These journeys were enabled by the successfully submitted project "Person-centred working in Europe" within the scope of Key Action 1 (Learning mobility of individuals) in the Erasmus + program.

The focus was self-determination and autonomy for people with disabilities
Qualified Employees of the Lebenshilfen SD met different solutions in European partner organizations in order to replace traditional assistance for people with disabilities by methods of the person-centred approach.
The employees gained knowledge and practical expertise concerning PCW from service providers in the disability field as well as changes in the organisational structure of service providers.
