Project Description

The aim of this project is to assist people with disabilities in gaining access to the general labor market by providing them and disability care experts, employers, and stakeholders with a number of important learning opportunities. The instructional material was compiled in the course of four selected and already completed European projects, which had already developed and tested the training material and methods. One of these projects, I AM 2003, was successfully coordinated by Lebenshilfen Soziale Dienste GmbH.

The results of I AM 2003 are:

• a summary of the four completed EU projects with their different focuses in terms of employment of people with disabilities in the general labor market
• a website with project materials
• dissemination of the summary in presentations and through networking in five European countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic)
