Project Description
ALL INCLUSIVE aimed to improve the situation of people with disabilities with a migrant background. People with disabilities with a migrant background are doubly burdened, as they have to navigate a foreign society with a multitude of cultural differences and, at the same time, face the challenges of their individual disabilities.
The project aimed to counteract the double discrimination against people with disabilities and a migrant background and to guarantee better integration into our society.
Together with the project’s partner organizations, we developed an intercultural, barrier-free model to make private and public employers and disability care institutions aware of the target group’s specific needs. The model shows how intercultural, barrier-free actions can be implemented, how necessary conditions can be met, and how networks can be used for their benefit.
During the two years of the project’s run, Lebenshilfen Soziale Dienste GmbH collaborated closely on a regional level with atempo Graz and the Department of Integration of the City of Graz.
